As a charitable outreach component to â13,â we will collect non-perishable donations to benefit
Alternative House, a teen emergency shelter located in Vienna. A collection box will be in the lobby for the first two matinee performances of the show (2/1 and 2/8), to allow audience members to deposit donations. The "wish list" items include small denomination gas cards, Metro cards, gift cards for groceries (amounts as small as $5, $10, perhaps up to $25); diapers; baby wipes; paper products (toilet paper, plates, towels); toiletries (shampoo, conditioner (including conditioners and other African American hair products), toothbrushes) and hats, scarves, and gloves.

Metropolitan Washington Ear and The McLean Community Players, along with the support of The Alden Theatre at The McLean Community Center, audio description services for those with vision challenges will now be provided for each play during this MCP season.
