The annual Swim Clinic will be held this year on Sunday, September 3, at Lake Audubon. For those new to the Reston Triathlon, this is a wonderful opportunity to experience a lake swim so that you know what to expect on race day. Registration will open at 6:30 a.m. The clinic will begin promptly at 7:45 a.m. with instructions by members of the Reston Master?s Swim Team.

We will permit swimmers the opportunity to complete a full mile in the open water. Light refreshments will be provided after the training swim. Wet suits will be allowing depending on the water temperature the day of the clinic.

The cost for the clinic and refreshments is $15.00 for USAT active members and $30.00 for non-USAT members. There is no online registration. Please bring your USAT membership card, CASH or CHECK to the clinic. We do not accept credit cards.

We look forward to seeing you at the Swim Clinic.
Sincerely,
The Reston Triathlon Board of Directors

THE COURSE (click for maps)

SWIM 1,500 meters: in Reston's Lake Audubon (permitted during the race). See this NOTE about the lake.
We are providing this link to a story in the Washington Post for safety considerations and to prepare first-timers in an effort to prevent problems.

BIKE 40 kilometers: three laps on moderately hilly roadways in Reston. The first two laps are identical. The third lap changes course and finishes at the high school.

Run 10 km on shaded Reston pathways, starting and ending at the high school stadium.
