Interesting Information about the Triathlon:
The entry fee this year was $70. The event, as usual, brought an impressive array of area athletes, including semi-pro athletes, week-end runners, and first time participants, as well as veteran competitors. There were athletes as young as 15 and as old as 68, and almost as many females as males.
An army of volunteers aided the event. The number of volunteers equaled the number of athletes.
The weather was excellent.
