Interesting Information about the Triathlon:

The air temperature started in the low 50's, but the water temperature was more than 70°. It was perfect weather for the race.

Joe Vicedomine was the first male three-time winner.

It was reported that Dixon Hemphill had set individual age group records for eight of the nine years he had participated, including 1992 at the age of 67.

Megan Troxell, 22, again set an individual age group record this year, for the sixth time.
