Interesting Information about the Triathlon:

A total of 450 participants entered this year's event. There were 362 finishers. Ed Hass was in charge of leading the race results and scoring.

Tragedy struck in the 1988 event. 17-year-old Curtis Silvey disappeared during the one-mile swim. His body was later found in Lake Audubon.
