Restore Laguna Honda Forest

A Portion of Laguna Honda Forest that Remains after the Eighth Avenue Slope Stabilization Project

Friends of the Forest Logo Laguna Honda Forest stretched along the west side of Laguna Honda Boulevard, from the Noriega right of way to Plaza for more than fifty years. In conjunction with the open space of Laguna Honda Reservoir and the community garden on the east side of the Boulevard, Laguna Honda Boulevard was a forested corridor from the Inner Sunset to Forest Hill Station until five acres of trees in the northern portion of the Forest were removed.

The Forest was one of the few remaining sanctuaries where you could escape the over-development, traffic jams and encroaching sprawl that we live amidst in San Francisco. The Forest provided us with a serene and inspiring environment for about 100 years. With your help, it will do so again, for many years to come.

Please explore this site to find out more details on the reforestation proposal as well as information and pictures of the Forest.
